ABOUT ME
Growing up as a child of immigrants, I had the everyday task of teaching new concepts to my family. All of my life experiences taught me to build communication skills and to understand not only how other people may perceive things, but how I can then effectively deliver a message. It only made sense that I've built my career around branding multibillion-dollar global organizations, creating communications to help market products, services and values. I've gained experience in a wide range of industries while supporting global teams through my work in communications and marketing. Working with people at all levels, from the C-suite to interns, my best work is revealed when I am able to take the lead implementing major corporate initiatives. With this vast knowledge, I have a well-rounded understanding of how organizations function and use that to help leaders create strategies that align with their overall mission and vision. I help foster collaborative work environments, paying special attention to each individual's needs through creating communications and shaping programs that advance organizations while serving its people.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
As years go by, I become more and more educated on the unique mental health struggles first-generation children face. In understanding how racial trauma plays an important role in the mental health of the BIPOC community, I've made an effort to spread awareness about key issues specific to their struggles. In addition to my ongoing research of how the use of episodic and thematic framing in American media negatively impacts the stigma around mental health, particularly of racial minorities, I am constantly searching for meaningful ways to help provide mental health resources to the BIPOC community and children of immigrants.
